\r\nOne Thursday I finished work at 8pm, locked up and alarmed premises and knew immediately I had a problem when my car would not open, battery was obviously stone dead. Phoned Vantage for and as usual they were on the ball. It was 10 minutes later my cell phone rang, and a lady asked where my car was as they were there to assist. She told me she was from Global Choices and wore a track suit top with the logo on it. I must admit I was delighted to see a woman. I was on my own in the parking area in pitch black except for security lights.\r\n
\r\n She tried everything she knew to get my battery jump started but it was dead. She was in constant contact with the operator at Vantage. I was reluctant to have a tow truck come and assist me, so Gadijah Haupt from Global Choices took me home. Early morning and late evening Friday I received phone calls from Global Choices and Vantage to check everything was okay. It was good to receive such caring assistance from Vantage and Global Choices. A genuine thank you to Vantage and Global choices for going more than the extra mile for me.\r\n

One Sunday I had a puncture; I first asked the Engen Service Station attendants if they could help me with the wheel nuts and they couldn’t. I then remembered I had Bay Assist but couldn’t remember my details, policy number etc. Mary answered the phone and the first thing she asked was am I safe then for my ID no. She then dispatched S’ya Towing and said they would be about half an hour, within 20mins a great gentleman from S’ya Towing arrived and changed my tyre. I got another call from Bay Assist to make sure all was okay. What awesome service, all need to be thanked for going the extra mile.\r\n

After a beautiful start to the morning, I lost a tyre to a pothole 10km out of Underberg. Stranded alone in 30°C heat, I phoned Bay Assist aka Global Choices and had the pleasure of Cleo answering my call. She was absolutely amazing, advising me who would assist, checking on my safety every 10 minutes and made sure I was on the road in no time. The guys from Mr Towing and Recovery were so polite and helpful, and I was back on the road in under 30 mins. \r\n

I am not sure how to thank the women who assisted us while we were away so maybe you could pass it on. Whilst on our way to the Kruger National park on a rainy Sunday afternoon, our car broke down in Nelspruit. I googled tow trucks and car hire companies only to be told all were closed, so John called his MUA emergency assist number and within an hour we had a tow truck and a hired car. I am so grateful to your Assist line; they exceeded my expectation. I contacted them to find out what I must do and who is allowed to tow the vehicle. The first thing they asked was if we needed medical assistance he then asked me for my name and telephone number. The case manager called me back within 5 minutes to give me the go ahead with the towing company. I was in total shock and really made no sense and asked if he would speak to the towing service driver, which he did and cleared everything up with them. He even phoned me back within 20 minutes to find out if the ambulance and tow service had arrived. This amazing gentleman phoned me later in the day to find out how my daughter was. Samantha took care of everything for me regarding the Claim. The way she handled everything yesterday was absolutely amazing. And then to my delight Refiloe phoned me a bit later to find out how we all were to offer help me in any way that I might need. Myself, Hubby, son and our dog were using my Father in-laws bakkie on Friday morning when unfortunately, we broke down on the side of the N2 freeway. We contacted Reid Assist and from the moment we called and advised of the situation, the whole process of organising a tow truck along with a taxi for the extra passengers and dog! To constantly keeping us updated the speed of arrival of the tow truck and taxi and the follow up service checking all was ok, was truly amazing and great service delivery.
